And that simple chit-chat during the mundane 8:30 class in an engineering college birthed "The Eclectics Store". Something was different that day, something in the air, something in our thoughts, something in our usual talk; we finally admitted what had been playing deep down in our hearts and at the back of our minds. In a gang of 6, the astute one dared to release her raw dream and glances were swiftly exchanged. They all saw it - a shine of hope in the eyes of one another. What followed next was unintelligible burble, wide-eyed joy, cupped-mouth excitement and disbelieving giggles. That morning the six girls in the 2nd year classroom smiled the widest, the idea of a homemade business sent rhapsodic waves through all of them. And it looks like the fervour hasn't dwindled, perhaps it never will. True to the name of our micro enterprise, we've channelled our efforts to put together an array of everyday essentials ranging from face scrubs to dry shampoo.
Our respective degrees in Biotechnology has been paramount to the assiduous research that goes into each product. We couldn't agree more with the world's leading expert on ants who once said that just being surrounded by bountiful nature rejuvenates and inspires us.
